How to lay Floor Screed

Tools needed = first you need a straight edge (a rectangular tube up to 8ft long), spirit level & trowel.

Order your Premier Mortars ready mixed Screed with a retarding agent (to allow 8 hrs working time) you can buy from the nearest plant to you. We can deliver at your convenience or you collect when you are ready!

Determine thickness of floor, set two scaffolding poles on screed horizontally at required level, width of straight edge apart.

Fill 1m of floor with screed leaving it one inch higher to allow compacting using edge.

Draw edge across screed, ensure in contact with poles as you pull off screed to level.
