The Alzheimer’s Society is leading the fight against dementia and their inspiration campaign - Dementia Friends has touched the hearts of many of the Green-tech team.
The Dementia Friends initiative about breaking down the barriers and misconceptions that surround this illness. By 2015 Dementia Friends want there to be a million people with the know-how to help people with dementia feel understood and included in their community.
The Forget-me-not symbol is a key part of the Dementia Friends logo and was launched to embody the UK's social movement on dementia.
Green-tech will be donating 50p to the cause for every packet of Forget-me-not seeds it sells John Chambers Wildflower seeds brand.
John Chambers Wildflower Seeds Manager, Stuart Ball, comments “Dementia is a heart breaking illness and as a company we’d like to support this great campaign. The Forget-me-not flower is beautiful, both in looks and meaning so it seemed fitting that we make a donation for every packet sold.”
