National Parks England, alongside Defra, has launched a 'Love Your National Parks' campaign to celebrate all that England's National Parks have to offer.
This year's National Parks Week runs from 29 July to 4 August and aims to boost the economic value of the parks from tourism and other economic activity.
England's National Parks are known for being superb landscapes, rich in heritage and wildlife, but they are also valuable generators of wealth and economic activity.
Love Your National Parks wants to encourage everyone to explore the wonders of parks so that you not only have a good time, but the money you spend will be helping the local communities who live within and sustain these beautiful areas.
A third of all spending on rural tourism in England is within National Parks and their neighbouring towns and villages, with this expenditure estimated to support some 68,000 full time equivalent jobs
