Driveways Liverpool by Dempsey Landscaping

Driveways Liverpool

Professional paving and driveway contractors constructing quality driveways in Liverpool and Merseyside. All driveways installed by Dempsey are always excavated to the correct depth and finished to the correct levels according to British standards so you can be sure by choosing Dempsey to install your new driveway you will not only recieve a driveway that looks good and adds value to your property but more importantly a driveway that is built to last. Below is a case study of a driveway project installed by Dempsey in Liverpool.

Before

Dull, dated and uninviting.

During excavation

All waste removed by local grab hire company for recycling.

Sub base

Brickwork completed and 100mm of mot type 1 crushed stone sub base laid.

Bedding layer

All paving laid on 100mm full bed of concrete.

Completed driveway (wet)

Raj blend natural sandstone paving with matching sett border supplied by Pavestone.

Paving laid to random stretcher bond pattern and jointed with traditional mortar pointing.

The driveway was finished with a curved border and planted with shrubs saved from excavation.

Driveway 5 days later (dry)

Driveway 1 year on

The images below show this driveway 1 year on from completion and as you can see it really catches the eye and looks even better than when it was first completed. The natural sandstone paving that was used is maturing well and really enhances the look of this property and has undoubtedly added value. The locally sourced reclaimed brick walls look like they have always been there and all the traditional pointing is standing up well to the british weather. This driveway is being well looked after and maintained and I'm sure it will continue to provide many more years of pleasure and service to the homeowner.
