Looking to study trees, forestry or woodlands abroad? You have until 5 March 2014 to apply for a Randle Travel Bursary with the Royal Forestry Society (RFS).
The bursary, available to all ages, is provided through the Donald Randle Trust, and can be used towards travel and subsistence costs for independent travel, or to take part in study tours organised by the RFS and its Divisions.
In recent years recipients have travelled to Canada to take part in seminars, gone to Ethiopia to share experiences in urban forestry, investigated Mediterranean species which might prove resilient to climate change in the UK, studied food trees in the Solomon Islands, and much more.
