Accept mobile payments before leaving the job

An Easier way to Accept Cards on the Job

When you’re out on the job, there are certain processes that are the last thing on your mind.

Especially when you are covered head to toe in dirt from a hard day’s work. Furthermore, if you are in a remote location, accepting credit cards may not come to mind. Chances are you don’t have an electronic POS terminal in the back of your car and even if you do, there is an even lower chance it will get service.

However, accepting credit cards straight away has been proven to increase customer satisfaction and improve your overall business performance. Thankfully, there is a solution to the old card acceptance methods of the past. All you need is your smart phone paired with a mobile chip and pin device.

How does it work?

Mobile chip and pin devices, such as payleven’s, work by pairing the device with your apple or android powered phone. The design is simple, easy to use and can be conveniently stored somewhere like your glove box or the centre console of your vehicle. There are no chords or contracts and they are extremely mobile.

You are able to run a transaction through with a credit card as long as your apple or android powered smartphone has access to 3G services. So, if you have a good company paid provider that doesn’t drop out, you should be totally fine to accept credit card payments anywhere.

If your customer needs a receipt, this is no problem at all because a receipt printer will be released in the upcoming weeks and will be able to be purchased in a bundle with the device. This is also completely mobile and able to be paired with an android or apple powered smartphone.

People don't use cash like they used to and prefer a quick and easy solution. It is far easier to get the transaction over and done with rather than deal with invoicing, particularly for a short contract or day job. If you have had issues with this in the past on a home gardening or landscaping job, this might be the perfect solution for you.
