The Met Office has issued a red weather warning of strong winds for northern Wales and the coastal regions of north west England.
Gusts up to 80mph and possibly 100mph are expected in the most exposed areas in west and north west Wales on Wednesday.
A red warning means that people need to 'take action' if they are outside and that there is a high chance of structural damage.
There is also the risk of trees being blown over and power cuts in the affected areas.
