First Find a Landscaper job for the Network

As some of you may know Landscape Juice has generated its first leads over the last week. We were lucky enough to be in the right area for the first lead and have been commissioned to undertake the design and build. The build started this morning and there will be some before pictures later when the team returns from site. For some reason I feel very nervous about this project - I think it is because Phil has been so generous allowing his brand to be used in this way and the build will have to do it justice! Normally we are only working for our own professional reputation and to have been given the use of the brand without payment being exchanged or anything being "in it" for Phil is a great privilege - and certainly a refreshing change from other lead generating websites! We have also been blessed with a lovely customer who knows exactly what she wants from her new space. The design is simple and understated, it is hoped that the planting will inject the "splash" and Steve from Plants to Go has kindly agreed to assist with the plan for this.In fact the customer has also decided to have her front garden redone at the same time so we have a challenge on our hands getting the two spaces completed before the weekend! Lets hope the weather is on our side!

    Hi Lara

Thank you for the update and taking the trouble to keep us all abreast - I am certainly looking forward to the photo's.

I am also delighted that the lead system worked - The system is based on helpareporter.com and I am hoping that we will generate many leads this way.

You all might be pleased to know that we are already at number one or tow on Google for 'finding a landscaper' or 'find a landscaper' so it is working very well.
  • oooh looking forward to it!

"Agree with you Graham, we have a client with a long run of Laurel which we only cut once a year mid june and have done for over 20 years, the client is fussy with a capital F ! It's a superb evergreen hedge which is bomb proof.
As to this so called…"

"Disagree there!  I maintain a site with a couple of of large laurel hedges and one cut in July suffices and keeps it looking nice.  Agree.... looks nasty immediately after cutting but quickly perks up so you don't notice the cut leaves.  Pretty much…"

"That's pretty much my thinking, but I am seeing them more and more. Mostly at expensive new builds. Mostly people with very limited gardening experience wanting an immediate finished product. "

"Yes 5' actual instant shaped hedging is very expensive, but if that's what he wants he'll have to pay for it.  A good compromise is use individual plants- you could use 1.5m, but 1.8 or 2m plants would probably be bushier, and by trimming to height…"
