With the summer season fast approaching, many homeowners are now spending their time thinking of sprucing up their gardens.

While preparing their gardens for the summer, consumers are set to be exploring a new trend in al fresco dining. This year, families will not be rolling out the BBQ, they will instead be enjoying their summer garden with a Stone Bake Oven Company Oven.

As a nation, Britons notoriously enjoy dining outside and entertaining friends and family, when the weather permits. This summer however, families are discovering a new and improved way to enjoy their gardens, with a wood fired oven, the latest cooking trend. Hardcore food enthusiasts and casual cooks alike can enjoy these stone bake ovensby creating delicious summer meals and snacks, the perfect accompaniment to a warm summer afternoon in the garden.

Tom Gozney, owner of The Stone Bake Oven Company commented: “Stone Bake Ovens are a fantastic way of helping the nation make the most of their gardens this summer. Not only can they really explore different ways of cooking and have fun creating new and adventurous recipes, Stone Bake Ovens create an extremely social atmosphere – a great alternative to the traditional BBQ, families and friends can all enjoy creating exciting new dishes whilst discovering a new way of cooking.

“BBQ’s are naturally associated with the British summer garden however this year, the stone bake oven will be the leading asset that makes families want to truly make the most of their garden this summer.”

Alongside a variety of wood fired ovens, The Stone Bake Oven Company also stock a variety of iron cookware on their website to help customers get the most out of their stone bake oven. Lee Davis replied to James's discussion What is average cost for mowing a garden?
"Hi Vic. Yes I realise that I'm not charging enough, even after 7 years of self employment (20 years in horticulture). I don't really do lawn only jobs, I prefer to do the whole garden, but still £20/hr isn't really enough. I recently got a new…"

"This is very encouraging! I don't know whether I should go for the bigger machine with the Xenoy deck or the 19" Polytough. I'm a bit nervous about spending that much money on a plastic deck, if I'm spending that kind of money I expect a good ten…"

"Thanks for that James. I love the build quality of the Weibangs but it sounds like Honda might be more practical for me, although the grinding noise is a bit worrying, isn't it under warranty? "

"Yes was a good mower and not too heavy , I purchased a cobra pro when my Honda needed some work and was in the workshop and I've used them ever since , for me they have just been the best mower overall what ever we throw at it , I've never tried…"

"I have a honda hrx537 hy and weibang 53asd
Can't go wrong with either.
Weibang with a highlife blade and a dedicated mulching blade leave a phenomenal finish. Better than the honda but if grass is long or wet it can stick underneath and completely…"

Impulse buys/ gadgets that turn out to be useful!Bought a Stihl catcher that is easy to put on/ remove.  It just slides on and off.    Helps when doing tops of hedges to bring down debris.  Would be perfect if longer.

The honda hrx hy models have a hydrolic fluid gear box, apparently far more durable than orginal honda gear boxes acourding to honda…"

"I think the lack of mulching puts me off. Having used a dedicated mulcher I've come to regard it as essential for the health of the lawns now. I think if I was going to buy a machine without mulching it would have to be a roller."

New mower time!

Hi guys. I've been in business 7 years and it appears to be time to buy a new mower. I've been using a Hayter 41 Pro roller and AS 420 Superclip mulching mower, the combo has worked well. But I managed to wreck the engine on the Hayter and it's £530…
