From 2 – 3 November 2016, STIHL will be presenting Saltex visitors with its premium groundscare and professional products, including the much anticipated BR 700 blower and 7 series VIKING lawn mowers. With STIHL’s brand new, expanded stand making its debut, show-goers can look forward to live cordless demonstrations and dynamic product displays at this year’s show.

STIHL invites all press to come and see the team at the STIHL show stand, H070, at this year’s Saltex show.

STIHL will introduce Saltex show-goers to its most powerful new backpack blower, the BR 700. Designed for contractors, local authorities and professional gardeners alike, this high performance machine produces serious blowing power, for the toughest of jobs. The blower tube is easy to adjust to suit the user and maintain blower force at all times and with a powerful 4-MIX engine and STIHL’s renowned anti-vibration system, this machine is the professional groundscare person’s dream.

Another highlight of the STIHL range being presented at SALTEX will be the FR 460 TC-EFM professional backpack brushcutter, aimed at professional users who spend much of their time working on banks. Conveniently, the machine is fitted with STIHL ElectroStart for comfortably restarting the tool at the touch of a button and there is an additional pull starter with STIHL ErgoStart for cold starting.

VIKING’s range of powerful mowers will also be on display at Saltex. VIKING boasts a myriad of heavy-duty mowers that were produced with the demands of the professional user in mind. Noteworthy is the VIKING MB 756 YC, a robust pro-mower with a 80L fabric grass-catcher bag, high torque hydrostatic drive for variable speed control and an ergonomically shaped mono-comfort handlebar for easy emptying.

Another standout product is the VIKING MB 756 GS, equipped with a dual-comfort handlebar, professional 3-speed gear box for effortless drive and a powerful Kawasaki engine for optimum performance at all times. Anti-vibration elements allow for longer working periods, making this mower ideal for cutting lawns of up to 3,000m². All of VIKING’s 7 Series mowers are extremely reliable, easy to maintain and have been tested by professionals so their high standards are met in every way.

STIHL has a number of new products on the PPE front that will also be showcased for the first time at Saltex, including the new FS PROTECT 471 high visibility clearing saw trousers. STIHL will also be displaying its popular HS MULTI-PROTECT trousers. Ideal for hedge trimming work these trousers boast hedge trimmer leg protection, clearing saw leg protection and knee protectors. Their stretchy material ensures freedom of movement along with waterproof knee and hem areas for wet winter work. Another feature includes long zips on the back of the legs to allow for airflow.
