We are very proud that the plants we add to our database are requested by members and added by experts. Shoot is all about offering our members personalised, relevant plant care advice that is credible but also friendly and accessible. The Shoot plant database is a vital part of that offer.”
The Shoot database is now established as the foremost online plant reference tool whether you are new to gardening or a seasoned expert. Every entry features plant descriptions, care advice, planting condition recommendations for every entry. Garden designer, Christine Whatley of Sylvan Studio said: “By far the best site I know for the range of plants included and the information given is Shoot.”
Gladiola ‘Black Velvet’ was the 20 000th plant to feature on the website’s plant database and had been nominated by one of Shoot amateur members. The request was forwarded to Shoot’s team of expert horticulturalists, who researched and compiled the plant information.
