Railing planter

Cool planter solutionIt is sometimes worth remembering useful details of where to source materials. I still have that habit from when I did more garden design and looked for materials to use. Now I have this new planter just added to my products list and it is worth remembering it as it can be very useful. We call it the saddle planter or greenbo planter. It is not just useful it looks great and I was not sure about how it looks, till I got my first stocin

Balcony planterIt is a great solution as a balcony planter as the plants will be in the best place so it does not take much space but also used as a window box. What is great is the 8 colours to choose from so it can blend with great effect. The modern look and the size of this planter make it a great balcony planter.Railing plantersAs you can see it is supposed to be ''sitting on a sort of railing'' so it can be used to soften any railing and add some interest as a railing planter. Choosing the right colour you can lift any deck or patio without using the space for pots.

Fence planterWell if you are still sitting on the fence and not so sure if you may use it anywhere, it may look great on fences and logs. It could be great to see someone use the nice colour combination on a coloured painted fence, or farm gates. Does anyone ever paint fences in any other colour than brown? How does it last?It would be nice to get your opinion on the new page that I added to my website or if you have other ideas about how else to use it/market it.This saddle planter is in stock now and if any member here needs it we offer trade prices for lj members.

"Plus it doesn't matter if we all know plants are better value. I'd make the point of this to the customer but if they want trough grown at the extra cost that's their choice I'd just do it"

"I've done 5ft Thorne troughs. Very easy to plant just got a mini digger dug the trench then drop them in couldn't be easier however £250 per m does seem expensive. "

"Disagree there!  I maintain a site with a couple of of large laurel hedges and one cut in July suffices and keeps it looking nice.  Agree.... looks nasty immediately after cutting but quickly perks up so you don't notice the cut leaves.  Pretty much…"
