On-line networking is important to business

There is tangible evidence that confirms the growing advantages of on-line networking over physical meetings. Only yesterday, Stuart Marler informed us of his biggest contract win to date and one major factor that contributed to this was Landscape Juice. There have also been many other successes, some of which I have been asked not to publicise and I have got the message, again confirmed in Stuarts post, that the confidence factor - something that cannot be recorded as a tangible event of monetary gain - is one of the resulting gains that our members are experiencing. Business Link (BL) has a great section about on-line networking which is worth a few minutes of your time. "Today, the internet is becoming a meeting place in its own right. With advanced communications technology now available, face-to-face meetings can be just as rewarding and productive when conducted online." One aspect of our network that I find particularly rewarding is the level of self moderation. The BL site has a section on self moderation which is useful. However, you will notice that we have no immediately visible terms and conditions and all the business conducted thus far has been exactly how we would have all wished should it have been conducted face to face. Don't forget to send me your success stories so that I can write it up for Landscape Juice. Stuarts example will be there this week and Kerry has some great news we are going to share in respect of his Marshalls successes too.
