  • Hi Elspeth, thanks for the masterclass. Perfect timing, I'd say, to convince me I'm doing the right thing. All this marketing though takes me but a couple of decades to previous careers which I thought I had escaped from.
  • Haha - glad it's useful. Know what you mean about thinking you had escaped from it ;-) But I think the internet is more exciting than straight marketing... more organic perhaps?! :o) I also see marketing as a process - which getting that bit right frees us up to be more creative and do the innovative fun stuff better
  • Yes, i agree but theres only a certain amount of hours in the day especially when the weather gets better. All work and no play.... and you know what happens next.
  • Oh yes agree. Work and play should be the same thing really :o)
  • Hi Elspeth - a very informative masterclass. Where do you get the demographic information for the social networks from?
  • Hi Keith - delighted that you found it informative. Demographics from iCrossing and Inside Facebook
  • Thank you very much - a little bit of light reading there!
  • Hi Elspeth, Very interesting. This info will be extremely useful when I revamp my site soon, thanks.
  • Thanks Richard - glad it was helpful
  • Peter - you might like to try www.websitegrader.com, a free tool from www.hubspot.com, which will give you a comprehensive analysis of your site (and any of your competitors' sites). They also have twitter & blog graders available and provide LOADS of free advice, blog articles, video, webinars, etc.
