Hi all! Brent here. I am new to the network and appreciate the warm welcome. I am a land business enthusiast and look forward to meaningful engagement in the network. I wanted to contribute a short list of lawn watering tips for those that are eyeing the approaching summer months.
Lawn Watering Tips
- Don’t over water your lawn. Over watering can introduce additional weeds and diseases in the lawn.
- Be sure to program your sprinklers to come on in the early morning, usually about 5:00-6:00 in order to maximize water use.
- Invest in a quality sprinkler timer. Taking time to find the right timer will make all the difference for your watering needs. Good timers will be easy to program, allow use with rain sensors, They will also offer additional features such as multiple start times, and different programs for different watering areas. If you are in the market we supply timers at my website: www.onlysprinklertimers.com
- Be attentive to the rain. It is good for your wallet and your lawn to know when it rains and water the lawn in accordance.
- Before you turn on the sprinklers for the year, be sure to test each valve to make sure that there are no broken pipes or sprinkler heads from the winter months.
- Lastly, enjoy your yard this summer. Too many people spend countless hours manicuring their lawn and yard, but don’t take time to relax and enjoy it. Get out the wine and invite some friends over!!
