Natural Indian Sandstone Cobble Driveway

Prenton - Wirral

We believe natural Indian sandstone setts will enhance any customers driveway.; which is why we were over the moon when our customer in Prenton (who we are currently doing their back garden)  decided to go with cobbles on their driveway.

I have created this blog to track our progress on the job. We will be installing  Indian sandstone setts 200mm x 100mm with 100mm x 100mm double cobble border all around. We shall also be building a retaining wall on the right looking at the house and installing linear drain system with land drains.

For other Natural Indian Sandstone cobble driveways we have installed please visit: Natural Sett Driveways

Progreen Weed Control replied to Adam Woods's discussion Killing crocus bulbs
"Pretty difficult to kill with a herbicide. glyphosate + sticker adjuvant would work well if you can spray before turf is laid - but best results at the end of the season rather than beginning. Burn down (but no bulb kill) through Finalsan (non-glyph…"

"just mow them -- it may take a year or two but without leaves left on for long enough the bulbs will run out of energy and die -- poeple that cant handle crocus in grass are a bit weird IMO

"Why bother doing anything? They'd look lovely in a lawn in the Spring + you should get rid of them for good once you've mown them down on the first grasscut, they'll soon die off anyway so the "problem" should go away. "

"Richard, Good luck in your venture. As to mowers there are only really two which we use for domestics, the Hayter Harrier Pro either 41 or 48, these are new from the ground up models introduced in 2019, they are a totally different machine from the…"
