Capel Manor College was established as a centre for horticultural studies in 1968. Over the years they have built a strong tradition of quality provision for a growing number of students. Capel Manor's recognition as a centre for Horticulture, Landscaping and Garden Design rests on best practice in training supported by strong links and partnerships with specialist industry bodies. Alongside full-time provision for school leavers and mature entrants, the Capel Manor programme of part-time day, evening and short courses provides a wide range of specialist skills and knowledge updates. Assessment of all full-time qualifications is based on continuous assessment of coursework rather than examinations. Interviews for applicants are based on exploring interest, experience and ambitions. References are also taken up and screening tests conducted. The following entry requirements are given as guidelines. "My 130T arrived and was tested today.   It certainly runs fast...the high motor noise is slightly irritating compared to the rumble of the 130R though.  I've got used to working without ear defenders.    Planet tool owe you a finders fee."
