Free forestry safety and health awareness days – Warwickshire

There are still places on this Safety and Health Awareness Day aimed at arboricultural contractors.

The event, which is being run by the Arboricultural Association on behalf of the HSE, is a chance for contractors to get a ‘one stop shop’ view of good practice, covering legislation, training, safety guidance, risk assessment, PPE and equipment inspection, plus a practical demonstration session with climbing, site management, supervision, tree rescue and equipment use all under the spotlight.

The event is free and is being held on 17 March 2015 at Stoneleigh Park, Warwickshire CV8 2LZ. Places must be pre-booked and can be made through the Arboricultural Association link to external website .
