PRO Supplier

Hainault Golf Club in Chigwell, Essex has signed a three year prefered supplier agreement with Sherriff Amenity. The agreement covers exclusive provision of fertilisers, chemicals and grass seed.

In the current challenging financial climate it’s become even more important that golf clubs are prudent on how they spend money. Hainault Golf Club’s association with Sherriff Amenity and the prefered supplier agreement goes along way to help with this.

Hainault’s Course Manager Andy Greenslade who has used Sherriff Amenity over the past three years, welcomes the new deal as it gives him access to a large range of products from trusted manufacturers.

“The use of IT to share information and making documents and data easy to access saves time spent in the office, as I can now select products for a particular issue whilst out on the course. All this comes with a continued technical and agronomic advice from Sherriff Amenity’s experienced support team.”

The agreement will ensure that Hainault will not only benefit from volume group purchases, but will also be provided with a high level of technical support and the latest in new product technology available.

Gary Ivory the Director of Golf and Operations at the 100 year old club, which is set in over 240 acres of beautiful wooded countryside and one of the busiest pay and play courses in Essex, commented: “It is our aim to make Hainault Golf Club one of the premier pay and play courses in the South East, whilst still providing all our customers outstanding golfing value.

“The Sherriff Amenity prefered supplier agreement greatly assists us in our financial planning as we continue to make improvements to the quality and playabilty of both courses. I would thoroughly recommend Sherriff Amenity products and services to other golf clubs.”

HMRC base the requirement for MTD ITSA on prior year tax return figures, including any now-ceased income streams. No crystal balls involved."
