Just recently we created a design for the garden of Tapping House Hospice in Norfolk. Tapping House is near Kings Lynn and is reputed to be the only adult hospice in the whole of Norfolk (I've not fact checked that bit).
Their 'garden' was - well - just a grassy area which had few points of interest and wasn't particularly wheelchair friendly either. CGM Landscapes asked us to create a design so that they could build an amazing garden to help with the wellbeing of residents, staff and visitors. We think we've done an OK job of it.
A circular path takes you on a tour of the whole garden, There are minimal slopes and the path is wide enough for two wheelchairs (or beds!) to pass side by side. There are lots of resting places and a couple of secluded areas that are just right for private reflection. Everything will be stuffed with plants to create year round interest and a lovely ambience. And, once the garden has been built and the planting is established, the views from the hospice window will be incredible.
