The next round of the Dennis and SISIS bowling green maintenance seminars has been announced, with the company heading to Currie Bowling Club, Near Edinburgh on 1st October before moving on to Cardonald Bowling Club in Glasgow on 2nd October.
The hugely popular educational seminars will combine practical tips and information from industry experts followed by the now infamous ‘Turf Clinic’ open forum session. Amongst the impressive line-up of speakers is Willie Wood MBE giving his views from a player’s perspective, bowls maintenance guru Dave Bracey, Patrick Hulbert from Bowls International, Jim Smith from Rigby Taylor and Ian Henderson from Golf Finance.
Topics on the day will cover the maintenance of a bowling green, a guide to pesticides and fungicides, funding, what an international player looks for in a green and practical machine demonstrations.
