A Landscaping Project that included sculpture. This is the first of a series of blogs showing you different examples of how artworks can be integrated into different environments. Looking back I realise that I have worked with Landscape Architects on several projects and looking forwards hope to continue to do so again but perhaps in a private context and maybe on a smaller scale.
This project evolved in collaboration with Mandy Hounsome then with RPS Design in Bristol who designed the hard landscaping of a Designated Play Area in a new development in Salisbury. The page on the website gives details and images that show the different stages that the work on the bronze ducks went through.
I hope you enjoy what you see and might let me know what you think, Best wishes, Richard

Beautiful morning. Spring is in the air at last. Off to the workshop now to finish forging steel handrails and twisted vertical posts for a twelfth century stone entrance to a local church!
Would be great to see a photo or a short video Richard:)
I'd especially like to see how the twisted vertical posts are made.
What church are you making them for?
