I'm a writer with articles in The Guardian and Countryfile Magazine (June 2014). I also do garden design, specialising in well-planted, practical and sustainable gardens. I give advice/consultancy on landscape management and garden design.

I have a BA in Landscape Studies from Heriot-Watt University and an MSc in Landscape Ecology, Design and Management from Wye(now Imperial)College. I lectured in landscape management and garden design for 15 years and have a PGCE. I'm also a licentiate member of the Landscape Institute.
