Have a look at the Sedum mix on this site. http://www.lindumgreenroofs.co.uk/ I don't know if they'd send it here, but I thought it might be an alternative if you have trouble getting the indigenous plants to grow on that roof.

Thanks for this. I am still trying to figure out how this all works. I see already that you are planning to emigrate to the UK? Can this be true, or are you just fishing? I am interested to sommunicate with the other pool builders, and will see if there is common ground.
