I have spent all my working career in amenity horticulture having been trained at Cambridge Botanic Garden. I was Head Gardener at Fitzwilliam College, Cambridge and then moved onto become Head Gardener for Michael Heseltine. Since 1989 I have been self employed teaching Garden Design and RHS courses and designing many gardens throughout the UK including a spell of design work in the USA. I continued to undertake design work for colleges in Cambridge and prestige private clients until moving to the Isle of Skye in 2004 where I work for clients on the island and still undertake design work for others.

Don't worry, we in the PR industry are quite happy to keep a low profile and quietly work away to rise the profile of our clients! However you'd be surprised at the reach of PR and also some of the companies that use it!
