Yes our battery one uses our old attachments from the petrol ones, saves buying them again...

I recently bought the (newest) KMA 135 and it says it cannot be used with the FSB-KM brushcutter. Dunno why that would be though.

    • The FSB-KM is also is not for use with the KM 131 petrol engine version. This is the higher powered Kombi petrol engine unit. I imagine that as with the battery versions, there might be too much instant torque for the FSB-KM to take. All bent shaft strimmers use a wire for drive in order to curve down the shaft, rather than a solid shaft as in the straight shaft version.

Over many years I have always bought more expensive strimmers in order to avoid any with wire drive. Even cheap straight shaft strimmers use wire drive. It is never as strong or as reliable as the solid drive types.

I can only imagine this is the reason.

  •  Back on point! Good to see the cordless kombi with a slot in battery. I'm mainly cordless now but using the purpose built hedgetrimmers. Tempted to buy one anyway though although I bet they burn through batteries with the pick tine attachment.

Also how long does the battery last on a single charge if using the BG KM blower attachment with a cordless Kombi ?

How many batteries required or most economical set up to enable 4 hours hedgecutting and 30 minutes blowing and does using hedge cutter attachment with an extention pole put more drain on the battery with Kombi as opposed to decicated long reach hedge cutter ?
