Ideal Excavator - DAX 08

Moray Landscapes took on the Main Dealership in Scotland for DAX Industries.

Within their range suitable items for Landscapers are their Excavators and Remote Controlled Slope Mowers. This sarticle will deal with the Excavator side.

The DAX Industries 08 Excavator is a basic but extremely agile multi purpose machine that would be a huge benefit to many Landscapers, Builders etc

Coming in at 780mm wide this machine is ideal for navigating gates, doorways and narrow paths often associated with clients premises, allowing you to get this machine into areas where beforehand you'd have had to use manual labour. To counter this narrow machine is a larger stability blade which is easily removed and fitted once in position. Once in operation for digging this Dax Industries 08 has aspirations above its weight class, a bucket reach of 2450mm, and a digging depth of 1300mm, more than enough for even the most complex landscaping jobs.

The machine comes as standard with a 380mm Digging bucket. This allows the user to dig out ground, trenches, move soil and sand quickly etc. Additional buckets can be purchased - 210mm Digging Bucket (fanstastic for pipework or cabling trenches), 500mm Plain Bucket, 800mm Plain Bucket with Tilting Head, Posthole Auger (never struggle putting in posts again), Hydraulic Breaker (Easily remove any concrete bases, paving or hard standings with ease), Landscape Rake (for dressing Top Soil) and a Quick Hitch attachment if you wanty to change the items used regularly and with ease.

Having used this machine around my property I've cleared out hundreds of stones, and rocks from pig enclosures, and laid an new armoured cable and network cables to my steading using the 210mm Trenching Bucket, the trench created had beautifully cut sharp edges, and a very nice narrow trench just ideal for cabling. the 20m trench was dug in no time at all and that included digging across a hardcore track.

There are 2 options available on the Dax Industries 08 Excavator - Slew or non Slew. This is purely personal preferance, some find the slew handy, but others find that the machine is so small and adgile that a slew is not required.

The excavvator starts at £4900 ex vat for the non slew, and £5500 ex vat for the slew.

Warranty provided is a full 1 year Parts Warranty from a UK stocked warehouse.
