About you and your business ( please complete)
Aralia Garden Design was formed by Patricia Fox in spring 2004. Originally Pat trained as a Fashion Designer and later went on to establish her own company working with many of the top high street retailers including Marks & Spencer, Waitrose, Sainsbury’s and Asda – designing, developing and sourcing a wide range of products. In 2002 Pat decided to work towards establishing a better quality of life, one where she would have more time to spend with her husband and children and also to work within an arena that somehow seemed more worthwhile and less transient in nature. Pat re-trained as a Garden Designer at the prestigious Writtle College. Aralia Garden Design has completed private, commercial and residential projects from £15 to £500k plus, including designs for hotels & property developers demanding innovative schemes. Empathising with the client, and understanding their needs is paramount to good design, and Pat combines this with breathtaking, dramatic landscapes, combining strong spatial design with textural and colour harmony. Aralia has gone from strength to strength in recent years. They have won the BALI Landscape Design Excellence Award for 3 consecutive years (2009 to 2011) and won a Silver Flora medal at the Chelsea Flower Show in 2009 with their innovative kitchen garden ‘Freshly Prepped’. They have also been selected to create a major show garden at the RHS Chelsea Flower Show in 2012. We are happy to take on large or small national and international projects and local projects mationally – private, public or commercial projects considered.
