About you and your business ( please complete)
I run a grounds/garden maintenance business with my partner in hertfordshire and north london. I spend most of my time running around after my 3 little kiddies and try to fit in work where I can. We started 5 years ago and are really keen to grow the business.

Sea glass in wood sounds interesting and lovely combo. Are you thinking of carving/drilling recesses for insetting the glass. For adhesion, I'd go for a good exterior silicone that will stick to anything. There are some good aquatic-safe products (can't remember the name...you could google) which means they are less toxic and withstand immersion in water. You could use a flexible tile adhesive and grout if it's an interior piece. Damp conditions cause the wood to expand and shrink eventually repelling mortar-based adhesive. Probably don't need to tell you that silicone is really icky sticky to work with and you'll need to clean off excess with a sharp blade (where's me risk assessment!) Plus clear adhesives will allow light to subtly permeate accross and through the glass. I'm currently working on an all sea glass wall relief but can only stick so many hours cleaning at a time.
