Dear LJN Members,
I would like to invite you to apply for tickets for the Barbara Everard Centenary Exhibition, to be held as a feature of the RHS London Orchid Show and Botanical Art Show at the Lindley Hall, Vincent Square, London in March.
Barbara Everard was one of the 20th century's foremost botanical artists and many of the 2000 works that she painted in her 40 year career have never been seen in public. Held in private collections or in the archives of organisations such as the Royal Botanic Gardens Herbarium, Kew, the RHS Lindley Library, the Orchid Society of Great Britain and the Medici Society, pictures on show will range from detailed botanical studies of wild flowers of the world to large floral still-life portraits. Some are on their way from Australia, where they have been since they were emigrated there in the 1960's.
Visitors, who wish to buy tickets, should use the promotional codes as shown on the (low res!) poster below and I am looking for more owners of Barbara Everard prints and paintings, whether for sale or not, to come forward to show them at the exhibition. These owners will receive a free entry to the Gala Preview.
I look forward to welcoming all LJN members, partners, investors, family and friends to the exhibition. More details about the artist and her life can be found at: Barbara Everard Centenary gallery and Exhibition
