hi jamie
it would cost more than the machine to retro fit the grass collector, you will need the compleate channel and grass box and rams and it will all need to be built from scratch from single parts so will be atleast a full day of labour.
as for you hydro problem
this will be the ball pump ring in the centre of the unit which is worn down, and will need replaceing.
in all ball pump motors this plate/ring is normaly a replaceable part after about 10 years of use so i think its time on this machine.
when im back in monday i will get the part number and price and let you know.
