I am the founder of Kingsbury Lawn Care - a proud independent lawn care service helping to solve homeowner lawn pain across the West Midlands.
The business was founded in 2015, becoming a limited company in 2017. We were the proud winners of 'Trades Business of the Year' at the Tamworth Business and Community Awards in 2018 and 2019. From this stage the company starting to gather speed as a lawn treatment service, serving and increasing number of postcodes, and expanding our team each year since.
We went a step further in 2022 with the Federation of Small Businesses, winning the West Midlands region 'Mirco Business of the Year' contested with companies made up of a team of 10 or less. This took us forwards to the UK Finals in Glasgow in May 2022, hosted by Claire Balding and JJ Chalmers.
As of 2023, we serve over 1000 homeowners with our lawn care and lawn renovation services, with over 200 5* reviews of our service online. Our recent success is largely down to the quaility of team members that we've been able to attract in recent years.
The business has been a member of the UK Lawn Care Association since 2015, with myself becoming a committee member in early 2019. This not-for-profit association has also been pivital in our development. With this, I'm always happy to help newer starters to the industry.

Degree in Sport Management (2:1). IOG Turf Management Level 3 (Distinction), including a nomination for the IOG Sports Turf Student of the Year Award in 2018. Experienced in lawn care and cricket groundsmanship. Managed North Warwickshire Cricket Club (Polesworth) for two seasons, including work experience at Edgbaston Stadium which included the T20 Blast and an England v Pakistan test match.

I've noticed you on LJN for a few years now and noticed we are in adjoining areas. In fact, a customer I have picked up this year has contacted you for a scarification. (Brenda, Hill Hook Rd. Four Oaks). This is good news for me as scarifying is a job I really don't like! I also have another customer that could use a scarify, I'll happily pass your details on if that's ok with you.
Re Brenda, I'm due to visit again 2 weeks today for lawn mowing. If that clashes with your plans just let me know. Brenda is a lovely lady and I've recommended this treatment since my first visit. I was only worried I may end up having to do it myself! I'm happy with my mow and go customers and hedge trimming and leaf clearing in winter, so hiring machines for a day here and there simply messes my routine around. Essential as mechanical treatments are, I find most customers are shocked at the expense and I don't push them.
