I primarily joined up because in my spare time (ie non-professional)I like to design and then build landscapes that look great and are practical. I tend to lean towards a modern/contempory/Balinese style. I thought it would be of interest to check out this network. By word of mouth I mean that I got the idea about signing in to online landscaping networks in general.
Yes the drought was severe and still is in certain parts of Australia, nurseries were shutting down because local councils enforced restrictions on water use leading people to water plants by bucket at certain parts of the day/week. But northern Australia has the tropics and so rain is plentiful there.
I can't even think what it would be like to be a gardener in Australia with all the challengers particularly the spiders!
I am sure you will find this site useful one way or another.
