Weibang Pro Mower

I've decided to get a Weibang next Spring. I spoke to some helpful guys at Saltex and they pretty well sold me on the idea and promised me a demo. I know there are a few guys on here who are Weibang enthusiasts so I just wanted a bit of feedback. It seems the Pro Legacy 56 doesn't have a blade brake clutch whereas the Pro Legacy 48 does. Now normally I would go for the 56 but I can't imagine how inconvenient all that starting the engine might be? So I'm tempted by the smaller 48.  I use an Izzy 536 now,  just for rough cuts,  and don't find stopping and starting too much of a problem but it is the famously reliable Honda engine. I'm not sure I'd be so confident with a different manufacturer. I wondered how you guys get on and whether you may have any helpful advice to help me decide. For what its worth I'm a one man operater so I do tend to find machinery lasts me a decent time.

    we been running kaaz mowers for coming 10 years that have bbc and i wanted it on the weibang but i bought a pro56 this summer and love it 

    the more i think about it i think i stay with this set up i know it a pain having to start the mower every time but the Kawasaki engine starts as easy as a honda and you get the crank protection with the non bbc set up and it is one less thing to go wrong i know the recoil will break more but that's an easy fix .

    I use 2 pro 48 weibangs bloody brilliant. I couldn't use the 56 at mo as they can't find a manufacturer that will guarantee a 3 year warranty on it. I use a scaffold board to run it into my van. They are heavy so I would go for the 48. Hope that helps
