You should be well within an acceptable window of opportunity Russ. The soil will still be radiating warmth.
Your biggest challenge is whether leaves fall on the seeded area.
I did sow some seed a couple of weeks ago and nothing's appeared yet............. it's good seed that usually comes up in a week so unless we get a good warm spell, I reckon you're probably wasting your time.

Should just about be OK - use a low temp germination seed and keep leaves off. Use aerator & sorrel roller pre seeding and then cover seed with a light top dress.
Seeded a couple of hundred metres a fortnight ago and it's up around 50mm. Did another 100m this week (mid Hampshire).
Thanks all, looks like it's a go then ! Knowing my luck there will be an early cold snap lol :)
A few years ago I did a job that involved clearing a garden and seeding it. Two days after we seeded we had heavy snow fall ( end of October). Winter decided it was there to stay. Miraculously or otherwise the following spring there was a fantastic looking lawn in place.
I always believed that a frost would prevent the seed germinating.
