Terms & Conditions/standard contracts

Can anyone point me in the right direction for 'templates' of the above? I thought business link might have something but I got drowned in their website. I only need something simple for the time being, but the complication is that I work as a gardener/some design, and increasing more landscaping projects so I need a bit of a catch-all. I do have a fair bit of business affairs experience from the old career, so am quite savvy, but it is proving a bit of a minefield and if there were such a thing as standards or templates that would be great. As ever, any pointers gratefully received

  • Angela and Roy, there are already some downloadable terms and conditions on LJN along with other useful business documents developed by Phil which you may find useful and can be adapted for your own business use.

Alternatively go look at landscapejuice legal at top of screen, or : http://landscapejuicelegal.com/ where you download fully legal and enforceable forms for a small fee (which helps support LJN)
  • Hi all.

I to am finding that due to requests my lawn care is expanding into maintenance & small landscaping work, I would also be grateful if anyone was prepared to let me have a copy of their terms and conditions.

This is my issue whilst I love all the outdoor work, getting my paws mucky & so on I just cannot get into paperwork and admin stuff.

My e-mail is here for anyone kind enough to send a copy. THANK YOU

  • Terms are simply a set of rules for YOUR business, and the best thing to do is sit and think of all the bases that you need to cover and write them down. Then format them to look more formal and call them your terms and conditions.

Every business will need different T&Cs so it really is best if you write your own from scratch.

Consider payment date, lateness, penalties, consider dog mess, underground services, payment for materials, property access and late cancellation of visits, plus whatever else applies to YOU.
