I've a location where we have a front sloping driveway (i'll post the fall later) and the client is looking for solutions that do not include 'hard' paving or paviours and ideally self draining (no room for soakaway/drainage).
They want a 'soft' look to the driveway. Its about 3.5m wide, 15m long and slopes to the house. It's used for parking and is the only pedestrian access to front door (ie path/driveway are currently one - old tarmac over slabs laid on soil).
What are some alternatives and what are the practical limitations (ie what slope can gravel with stablising mats be used on, is grass over concrete mats possible etc)??
Help ...any ideas/experiences ?
