Replacement cemetery mower.

My kubota Gh150v-e has finally decided to give up the ghost and I'm looking to replace it with something to make my life a bit easier.

The headstones are randomly set so running straight up and down is not possible and means I have to then go back round with a strimmer to get into some of the corners and between the headstones.

Does anyone have any ideas or opinions on what the best replacement would be?

Thank in advance.

I’ll try again since it’s not worked twice though that may be my brain not working properly!

That what I’ve been using this year on cemeteries. Quick and quiet if a little big for some places.
Won’t be brilliant if not cutting at least fortnightly.
Leaves a nice finish as long as you don’t go too short though.
  • I'm on a 3 week schedule. I did have a Victa as a backup but that has developed a fault where it's impossible to control the engine speed (revs its nuts off to the point I thought it was going to explode). Even my local engine whisperer can't get it to behave.

I'll add the weibang to my list of possible replacements though.

  • I'd consider a three wheeler.

I was going to say that locally they use Honda Zero Turn pedestrian mowers. Never used one so no idea if they're good, bad or ugly

  • Titan pro, zero turn 3 in 1. Got a 7.5 horse engine given it some real hammer this year with no problems even used to mulch hedge cuttings. Had a weibang previously 6hp 22 inch mower so called professional engine after 2 blow ups in a year it was mothballed.

Something with front wheel drive like a Stiga or Viking Mulcher. I've tried swivel wheel mowers and personall I dont get on with them.

  • The Clippo, front wheel drive, light, rubber mounted swivel handlesmay be worth a look.
