yeah you can usually find a few posts for certain machines through a search, but would be much easier having a dedicated section for it and would perhaps encourage more people to share they're opinions on the kit they've used past & present, doesnt have to be limited to machines either could range from hand tools to materials, cover everything we use in the business, a list of threads would help if what im suggesting was too much
A thread with a list of kit that are all individual links to a thread for that machine that people can then add thier thoughts to?
Yeah, that would be the simple way to do it, as on many forums. Have a stickied thread that lists links to to other threads about individual bits of kit. Someone would have to manage the stickied thread though, to add the links.
not entirely sure how it would work either....my knowledge of putting websites together is zero lol just a thought, it may well be that it would be too much of a head ache putting something like that together and a suggesting such as yours could be simpler and much more viable
We did start off a review section a few years back but it got lost within the forum a bit.
What Richard says is very true. If any member wishes to write a review , it is best to use the word review as well as the full make and model (together with any numbers) so that the topic can be found via site, as well as internet-wide search engines, in the future.
