if its a flat pack metal shed it will take all day for 2 of you, i did one once never again absoluty rubbish job instructions are rubbbish
Piles of nuts, washers etc.
I'd give it the best part of a day, 8-3 pm maybe? I knew a joiner who built a flat packed wooden shed 8 by 4 and charged £100, took him a few hours.
Ditto what Mark Harris said - if it is one of the flat pack green and white 'tin jobs' from Argos or Homebase etc etc, having built one and rebuilt it and reinforced it by building a wooden frame inside it after the first bit of wind, lets just say I wouldn't want to be getting involved in another.
SUPPOSED to hold together with self tappers, but doesn't, there's just no strength anywhere!
Never again!
Thanks for all the replies. Maybe I will give it a wide berth!
We've got a 10x8 shed that we put together over 2 days, dismantled it, and then re-erected at our new house. It withstands winds very well, had it 9 years.
2 points, you will need 2 people at key times
having put the frame up, you need to have quite a bit of time and a windless day, to put the sides & roof on, as you can't leave it half done
