Can only say I felt a bit disappointed.
I decided to give up, as the time commitment seemed silly when I was fully-booked, and the course would only be a vanity qualification.
That said, I never had a single contact whilst doing the course, nor a single contact when I stopped. I felt that was a waste of my money, and would have thought they would want to know why someone did a few months then gave up?
It depends which course you are going for?
I studied for the RHS level 2 a few years ago, the course material was extensive and a bit 'dry', there was a lot to read. It was a challenge to study, revise, and work full time as a gardener. I failed the exam by 2.5% and was demoralised. I concluded it wasn't the right way to go about it for me and 2 years later I enrolled at a college on a one day per week course, this was better, there was no final year exam but ongoing tests. And now I am qualified! I would say in my case the qualification has helped.
