1/ Check out the FSB here and here. Then consider joining (my recommendation, especially with Employment, HR, Legal & HMRC support)

2/ Check your PLI Insurance. Depending on who you use, many give access to online portals for H&S, Risk Management and HR briefings.

3/ Whoever is quoting you £200 pm is taking liberties and why do you think you need such a system (that's over £7k !).

  • Thanks Gary, just had a look at fsb and it looks like it would work well.

I'm with Gary, this seems over the top and is something that is generally covered by a trade association membership.

When I worked for my Dad he was in the Federation of Master Builders and his stock answer to my questions was ring the Master Builders. I don't know what level of service you can generally get from trade associations these days, I am in one, but they seem to rely on a members forum for the answers to many business related questions though they do have a technical queries phone line.

A couple of years ago I was invited to attend the FSB agm as a guest, which I did. It was a really good day and I was impressed by the FSB, though I have not parted with my money and joined. It is definitely worth consideration.
