Can only speak for Ludlow, Bishop's Castle and Clun valley areas but there is an aging population and plenty of assistance gardening work. Lots of people doing it but most have to turn down work. Takes a while to integrate and get known but that's made easier if you have school age kids (the village schools here are great by the way and my old London friends get very jealous when they come to visit). Good luck
I love that area, the Welsh Marches.
Cheers
Hi Andrew - I've been here 4 years and my work is very part time as I do other non-garden stuff. I've got friends here (local and incomers) that are full time and do well. It is a lovely part of the world, the children are happy and the cost of living is low...I'm just amazed there's hardly anyone here!
