bump. no one using efco tools then
I guess that says a lot?
Buy what your local dealer sells, then you have a relationship with him, and you know he carries spares!
I tried one years ago (2011 i think) and it was fine, not bad vibes etc but as noone else had one and dealer was honest and said new to him I chose makita for the blower.
Apprently good overall but parts are slow to arrive if it does break
the dealer I use says he is in talks with the main importers and it looks like he is about to start selling them says they do pro models which have a 2 year guarantee and got some brochures in already I will call and see them on Monday
thanks for the replies
I have had my efco hand mower for ten years and it has never missed a beat. It has the Honda engine which is supremely reliable. It has it's original belt and blade [I just re-sharpen] , so I would reccomend them. Having said that, all my other gear is Stihl, Stiga and Honda.
ill watch out for that Richard
We have an old efco strimmer which is at least 6 years old and has never missed a beat.
Also one of the small ones which you can change the tools on, hedge trimmer, strimmer, chain saw, it was abused for four years, every day so was a good work horse for me !!
We also run efco mowers !!
