She's lovely Helen:)
I've always taken my dogs to work.
This is my black lab Hector in 2004. He's a bit grey around the chops now.
I kid you not, he actually put his seatbelt on whenever he got in the vehicle:)
Agree with Harry that dogs are better company than most humans! :-)
I used to take my Welsh Springer to work sometimes, but she was old and did tend to wander off. My current two were so lively as younsters that it was never an option.
Now they are older and we're looking at one moving on before the other, I expect I'll have a companion again.
When I had my landscaping business my dog used to come to work with me almost all the time, apart from if it was exceptionally hot! The customers used to expect me to turn up with my dog and were concerned if she wasn't with me, they make great companions too!
My mum's cat often follows me to work when i am working next door to her house. It is quite amusing when suddenly he darts past and goes up a tree. Not the same as a dog i know but company all the same.
I've got two border terriers, I've brought them along to the odd flailing in a field etc. out in the country jobs, but they have an affinity for dropping logs wherever they go so I'd rather not bring them into a garden where I may miss some poo and leave my client with a present they never asked for.
Scout and Nala come with us every now and then and they are great company. Scout does like to do a bit of scarifying though which is not always appreciated (he does a REALLY good job). They have 2 favourite gardens, where they revert to puppydom - lot of hide and seek and quite a lot of noise - brilliant but bit distracting! Supposed to be doing my admin now but dog stuff much more interesting - ah well, can't put it off any longer....
