Look at any Supplier or Credit Acts you have. They may need to 're-assess you'. Sort it early, so you're not refused access when you need it.
Ensure any customers that 'stay' with you durring the transition are kept fully informed, especially if they pay you online.
The chances are you are sole trader T/as and thus you may need a new bank account.
If so, many of those customers will have a permanent payment order that they use and if subsequently used they may not make it through to your new account.
Consider a personalised letter and putting a message on the bottom of your invoices with the new bank details.
If you change your company name but keep the same address and phone number, you will need to change every citation of your old company name to your new company name. That means Yell.com, Scoot, Thomson Local etc.
You may have lots of emails to send and phone calls to make, best of luck.
Website hosts? phone company? do you have a yard or storage unit?
