Best wishes to Chris Harrop for a speedy recovery

I'm sad to report that Chris Harrop - director of marketing at Marshalls - has been diagnosed with cancer.

Chris told me "Unfortunately I will be out of action for a couple of months. I was diagnosed with Chronic Myeloid Leukaemia last week and have started chemotherapy.

"This form of Leukaemia is fully curable and once it's under control and I am in remission I will be back to work as normal, it's just that the chemo is grim."

I'm sure you'll join me in wishing Chris a speedy recovery.
