So what do we do? There are probably thousands of applications in schools, playgrounds etc. Mention it and maybe cause unnecessary panic or wait and see where it goes from here.
Just by clicking through the few links I've provided one can see that there's enough anecdotal evidence to suggest that there my be a problem with some artificial grasses.
I'd hope that any single person, or organisation, planning to have artificial grass installed would do their due diligence.
I think, once one is aware of the potential for problems with any product then it's a dereliction of duty to ignore what's been reported.
