Any advice on K rend please

Just coming to the end of a rip out/makeover and have used K rend on some of the garden walls which looked great when first put on but since has picked up some stains during planting. This is proving very difficult to clean up,so far have tried jet wash and scrubbing with soap powder but stains just smudge.Have picked up some brick/patio cleaner but reluctant to use in case it causes more damage.

    Could MMC pro help here? Not sure, but as it's a biocide and not acidic lessens the chance of damaging material : http://www.brintonproducts.co.uk/framedset.htm?pro.php~mainFrameV

    I've seen it remove 'dirt' but not sure the basis of what the "dirt" was...just thinking out loud.....

  • Gary thanks for your input will order MMC pro tomorrow (even if it doesn't work still useful to have for moss etc).Client away till Sunday and hasn't seen the finished garden but we are desperate to avoid having to repaint the walls!

  • Would it be an idea to contact the manufacturer and find out what they recomend? For the price of Krend I wouldn't want to be playing with chemicals with it.

    The reason I suggested it, was ;

    Biodegradation and clasification
    MMC-PRO is readily biodegradable to EC/OECD standards, contains no bleach or acids, and is not corrosive. MMC-PRO, as supplied, is classified N, Xi: R36/38 under CHIP3. At the minimum dilution rate of 1:4, the dilute a zero human health hazard classification. It is classified as Dangerous for the Environment because of its toxicity to aquatic life. MMC-PRO is fully HSE and PCS approved.

    But agree it would ALWAYS be wise to test first and take further guidance, if available.
