I've been gritting the past 3 nights in Bristol.
and the summer will be the hottest we have ever seen. to be honest i take each day as it comes and never believe the daily forecast let alone long term ones.
having said that we always have a buffer of savings in the company to enable us to deal with problems that might come along. not easy to do but essential
We're now on call to Grit ..... not sure if we should be happy or not !

Paul Hudson on his weather show always slates the express saying they never get it right even interviewed the editor on one show and he said he was not concerned about getting it wrong, he went onto say by putting headlines on the front page increased his sales by 10%
I think the Express, Mail & Guardian all do the same
